Curriculum Overview
At Katz Hillel Day School we aim to imbue in our students a passion for learning and excellence in all areas of Judaic and General Studies curriculum. We strive to inculcate a love of learning, a love of Judaism and a love for Medinat Yisrael. We strive to nurture each and every child, to challenge and inspire the child to grow academically, socially and emotionally.
The curriculum is divided between Judaic and General Studies with an emphasis that students must master the necessary skills for the twenty-first century. Current educational practices are constantly sought after and applied in order to meet the needs of our learners and to engage them in the learning experience. Extra and exciting programs create many experiential learning experiences that enhance the curriculum and teach Torah values with passion and relevance. In addition, KHDS has programs for athletics, computers, music, art, science and physical education.
