Admissions Calendar

Tuesday, October 21, 2025 – Applications will open for EC2 and EC3 SIBLINGS AND STAFF MEMBERS ONLY and all new families EC4 – 8th grade*

Friday, November 14, 2025 – EC2 and EC3 sibling and staff admission decision letters will be sent via email

Monday, December 1, 2025 – EC2 and EC3 applications will open to new families (contingent on space availability)*

Wednesday, December 10, 2025 – Wednesday, December 31, 2025 – Re-enrollment/Opt-Out period for current families

Week of January 5, 2026 – Admissions decision letters will be sent via email. Spaces are subject to availability. Admissions is rolling from this point forward.

*Please Note:  If the grade you select only offers a Waitpool Form option, that means the class you are trying to apply to is currently full.  We welcome and encourage you to complete the Waitpool Form and we will contact you if/when the opportunity to apply arises.

The Waitpool Form is NOT an application.  There is no application fee, we will not contact your child’s current school or ask for recommendations, and we will not require an in person visit.  The Waitpool Form allows us to know that you are serious about sending your child to KHDS and will give us a little more information about your child and your family.  If/When spaces do become available in a previously closed class, we will look to those who submitted the Waitpool Form to invite them to apply at that time.
