A priceless time to reach for new heights

Upper School (grades 4-8)

Utilizing our unique and individualized approach to education, all students in our program gain greater confidence and a better understanding of their strengths and interests. This knowledge better prepares them for their future as high school students and as productive members of the community.

Through their encounters with a highly diverse faculty, including American-trained educators as well as educators from Israel and abroad, our students receive a complete academic foundation that includes a love for Torah, Judaism, Israel and a greater knowledge of the world around them.

In grades 6 through 8 our educational approach provides every student with a level appropriate course of study that takes into account the academic aptitudes and personal needs of each student. Through both homogeneous and heterogeneous class placements, students receive instruction tailored to their specific levels while concurrently exposing them to the divergent thinking of our academically diverse students.

A challenging program of General Studies that includes Science, Mathematics, Social Studies and English exposes our students to the wisdom of humankind. Our comprehensive program of Judaic Studies that includes Hebrew Language, Chumash, Navi, Talmud, Dinim and Jewish History and Thought insures that academic growth in General Studies is achieved within the parameters of Torah values.

Hillel graduates are well prepared for high school and will be ready to face life's challenges with confidence and Derech Eretz.

Englander, Rabbi Adam
