LAMED VAV SOCIETY ($36,000+)
The Talmud speaks of the small group of heroes, the Lamed Vav Tzadikim, thirty-six righteous individuals, in whose merit the world continues to exist.  According to Jewish legend, the Lamed Vavnick steps forward at times of great peril to save the Jewish people from destruction.  The thirty-six members of this elite group of individuals are privileged to see the divine presence and by virtue of their existence help bring about the ultimate redemption.

Just as the world continues to exist because of the merit of the Lamed Vav Tzadikim, so too will Hillel Day  School continue to provide for the future of the Jewish people because of its own cadre of Lamed Vav Tzadikim.

CHAI SOCIETY ($18,000-$35,999)
Am Yisrael Chai, the Jewish people live, is a phrase that affirms G-d's hand in the course of human history and is a testament to the resilience of the Jewish people who have survived and flourished despite prolonged and unimaginable persecution.  We Jews are here today because of our faith in G-d and because of our fervent commitment to transmit our precious legacy, the Torah, to our children.  We can only continue as an eternal people if we remain committed to our children and our community.

Hillel Day School plays an important role in contributing to the future of Am Yisrael.  Students from the Early Childhood Program through the Eighth Grade, receive a comprehensive Judaic and secular education that prepares them for their roles as heads of Jewish families and leaders of the Jewish community.
